Ellie is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern. She believes that having a nonjudgmental space of your own can support healing, resilience, and self-love, free from outside noise. She uses a person-centered approach that honors each client as the expert in their own experience.
Ellie works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, relationship stress, family conflict and life transitions. She has a special passion for supporting teens, young adults and parents navigating identity, independence, self-esteem, and belonging.
She practices from a trauma-informed lens and uses an integrative approach drawing from CBT, EFT, ACT, and DBT, based on each client's unique journey. She focuses on helping clients build coping skills for emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, self-awareness, and healthier relationships, meeting them where they are in the process.
Outside of counseling, she enjoys concerts, music festivals, sporting events, tennis, audiobooks and time at home with her husband, baby, and many pets. She has enjoyed continuing to grow in self-care and taking time for herself.
Ellie sees clients in Sugar House, Millcreek, and via Telehealth.
