Ellie is an uplifting intern pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Butler University, focused on creating a warm, empathic, and safe environment for healing. She believes that counselors don't 'fix' people - they stand beside them, honoring their inherent value and collaborating on a path of resilience and self-love. She is passionate about helping clients understand that their past and current challenges do not define them, and that healing, self-compassion, and forgiveness can shape a future of their own.

She specializes in parent-child relationships, individuals, families, and couples experiencing relational stress and healing wounds. She focuses on conflict resolution, strengthening communication, and ensuring all voices are heard. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing each individual's value and their meaningful role within relational systems. She also works with young adults navigating life transitions and role identity. She's devoted to creating a space that fosters autonomy as clients face new challenges, pursue independence, and discover their true self.

Ellie works from an integrative framework that includes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while maintaining a client-centered approach that emphasizes clients as the experts in their own lives. Additionally, she has training in trauma-informed care, attachment-based therapy and motivational interviewing.

Outside of work, she's happiest in social, high-energy spaces like concerts, music festivals, sporting events and time on the tennis court with her team and friends. She also deeply values time at home with her husband, baby, and pets.

Ellie sees clients at our Millcreek location and via telehealth with clients throughout Utah.
