Rachel is an MSW intern at Utah Valley University. She graduated with a Bachelors in Family Studies from Brigham Young University. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including providing individual and group therapy for students in school-based services and facilitating a psychoeducational support groups for survivors of sexual assault. Rachel strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for working with clients on issues like trauma, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, self-compassion, boundaries, and healthy relationships and more. She aims to empower clients to explore their challenges, draw from their inner strengths, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Rachel draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based interventions, and somatic-based practices to support clients in their healing journey. She is passionate about holistic approaches that consider both a person's mental and physical well-being in the therapeutic process.
Rachel has a deep passion for yoga, the outdoors, and time spent with her family and friends. Rachel will be seeing clients at our Lehi office and via telehealth.
