Miranda (she/her) is a LAMFT who earned a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Brigham Young University. She works with couples, families, and individuals on issues stemming from attachment wounds, trauma, C-PTSD, cultural identity, faith transitions, self esteem, minority stress, anxiety, and depression.
Her therapeutic style is collaborative and trauma-informed, focusing on providing a safe, compassionate space where authentic connections can be formed. Miranda understands that the path to emotional and mental well-being is difficult, and she would be honored to be a part of it. She strives to provide personalized care to each client, prioritizing their needs and values.
Miranda often uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples or Attachment Based Therapy (ABFT) with families. Examining areas of hurt and unmet needs to inform current relationship disconnects guides her treatment. Additionally, she uses Internal Family Systems (IFS) with individuals to increase self-compassion while exploring and solidifying their sense of identity. Miranda is also trained in EMDR for clients seeking to work through trauma in an empathetic and informed setting.
Miranda sees clients in Taylorsville and throughout Utah via telehealth.
