Cam Nielson is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Utah Valley University. Her undergraduate degree is in Educational Psychology, focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis, from the University of Utah. She strongly believes in the importance of building wellness in one's life and aims to help her clients achieve that sense of well-being.
Cam loves working with teenagers and adults to address general mental health issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Autism, ADHD, burnout, behavioral issues, women's issues, and relationship issues. She seeks to establish a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship with each of her clients and adapts her approach based on what works best for each unique individual. She combines cognitive therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with client-centered approaches and behavioral principles to help create change in her clients' lives.
Outside of work, Cam enjoys yoga, skiing, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.
Cam sees clients at our Pleasant Grove office and via telehealth with clients throughout Utah.
