Kari Done is a social work intern currently pursuing her Master's in Social Work at Utah State University, building on a Bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho. With a deep commitment to creating a safe, non-judgmental space, Kari empowers clients to explore new tools and perspectives that foster healing, connection, and personal growth.
As a mother, former foster parent, post-adoptive parent, and trauma-informed caregiver, Kari brings lived experience and empathy into her clinical work. She specializes in building nurturing relationships rooted in trust, attachment, and connection. Kari works from a strength-based lens and has knowledge in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), and Play Therapy.
Kari has supported children and families navigating challenges related to trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and life transitions. She believes that every person has the capacity to embrace their story, find their inner resilience, and live with greater self-acceptance and authenticity. Kari offers an integrative and heart-centered approach, supporting individuals and families on their journey toward healing and wholeness.
Kari is seeing clients in person at the Lehi location, as well as via telehealth for clients throughout Utah.
