Kendra Parry, CSW (she/her), is a therapist who combines warmth and compassion with a direct, growth-oriented approach. She graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from Utah State University and is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International.
Kendra specializes in supporting clients navigating perinatal mental health concerns, infertility, parenting challenges, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and major life transitions. She also has a deep commitment to walking alongside clients who are exploring questions of faith or navigating shifts in belief, including those processing life in or after high-demand religions. Kendra understands how deeply faith and culture shape identity, relationships, and belonging, and she provides a safe, affirming space for clients whose spirituality matters to them-whether they are staying, leaving, or somewhere in between.
Her therapeutic style is active and collaborative: she believes that while validation is important, real healing comes from learning new ways of thinking, feeling, and acting. Kendra works with clients to build practical skills, challenge old patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change. Her practice is rooted in feminist values, anti-racism, and inclusivity-she provides a space that affirms LGBTQIA+ clients, body liberation, and diverse lived experiences.
Outside of therapy, Kendra loves celebrating all four seasons-kayaking in summer, making snow angels in winter, and embracing the beauty of nature year-round. Originally from Alaska, she now enjoys exploring Utah with her husband of 16 years, their four children, and the family dog. She also enjoys one-wheeling, road trips, and time outdoors.
Kendra sees clients in Salt Lake City and via telehealth across Utah.
