Lisa is a Clinical Social Worker (CSW) and a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). She specializes in the treatment of trauma, including PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and chronic pain. As a somatic and experiential therapist, she uses EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodrama, mindfulness, movement, art therapy and sand tray to help clients reconnect with their bodies and find holistic healing. She also utilizes therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Research has shown that our bodies and minds are intricately connected. The body holds our pain, and Lisa believes it innately knows how to heal our pain. She has worked with First Responders in residential treatment, teens in crisis, women struggling with peri-natal mental health disorders and many others wading through trauma and grief. In each of these settings she has been awed by her clients as they courageously reach out for help, get curious about the deeper wounds that are fueling their pain, and move towards healing and wholeness.

Lisa is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to travel and explore. She is the mother of four children and one adorable grandbaby! She is grateful every day for the beautiful messiness of life and for the people who have helped her find her own healing.

Lisa sees clients in Lehi and via telehealth.
