Mandy Doherty (she/her), a genuine and compassionate therapist, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with her Bachelor's in Recreation Therapy and her Master's in Social Work from Chamberlain University.
Mandy is dedicated to guiding individuals as they are navigating life's setbacks and challenges, with a focus on unconditional positive regard, genuineness and empathy. She has experience empowering individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, gender dysphoria and substance use disorders. She is dedicated to fostering a safe and trauma-informed space for individuals undergoing faith transitions, relationship struggles and individuals with low self-esteem.
Mandy's therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, and mindfulness techniques. Mandy is committed to tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs. When Mandy is not therapizing, she is likely embracing the outdoors. She enjoys trail running, ski mountaineering, yoga and mountain biking. Mandy sees clients in Salt Lake City and via telehealth.
