Emily Graves

Emily earned her Master's of Social Work degree from The University of Kentucky and an Undergraduate degree in Sociology from St. Joseph's University. Emily enjoys working with a wide variety of people, ranging from young children to adults and uses an individualized relational approach to meet the needs of each client. She has extensive experience working with children as young as preschool-aged through the teen years and has worked with adults throughout the lifespan up to end-of-life care. 

Emily has worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, challenging family dynamics, survivors of trauma, those experiencing grief, and attachment and adoption-related challenges. She also has extensive experience working with neurodiverse populations and their families including those on the autism spectrum, and more specifically those with a PDA presentation of autism, and individuals with ADHD. She has received training in expressive arts therapy, play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and treatment approaches to OCD and anxiety, neurodiversity, PDA profile of autism, and attachment disorders. 

In her free time, Emily enjoys being outside- camping, hiking, swimming, going on walks, hanging by a fire, or just laying in the grass. She is also an animal lover and especially cherishes spending time with her husband, their 4 cats, and chickens.
