Candice Townsend (she/her) is originally from Texas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah and a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
In her practice, Candice compassionately challenges mental and emotional barriers to help individuals from all walks of life become the best versions of themselves. Well-versed in inner child work, emotional regulation, confidence building, family relationships, and trauma-informed care, she utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique experiences and needs. These include EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly express their thoughts and emotions is central to her work. She is passionate about breaking down barriers and destigmatizing conversations surrounding mental health while empowering individuals with the tools, support, and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges.
Candice believes that meaningful transformation begins with self-awareness, healing, and compassionate support. She is dedicated to helping clients build confidence, process trauma, strengthen relationships, and develop effective coping strategies through culturally sensitive and evidence-based approaches. Her practice is a space for healing, growth, and personal transformation, and she is committed to supporting clients every step of the way.
Outside of her professional life, Candice enjoys outdoor roller skating and reading and has a deep passion for Marvel and anime.
