Kristy obtained her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from BYU and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work at UVU. She is passionate about helping teens and adults navigate a range of mental health challenges, including depression, OCD, and other anxiety-related disorders. Kristy also has experience supporting postpartum mothers with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She understands how overwhelming and isolating these experiences can feel and offers empathy, validation, psychoeducation, and practical tools to assist clients in building stability, confidence, and self-trust.

Kristy has additional experience working in a secure residential treatment facility with adolescent girls navigating complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, including trauma, non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation, psychosis, substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, perfectionism, and low self-esteem.

Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). At the heart of her work is a values-based approach in which she helps clients identify what matters most to them and supports them in aligning their actions with those values to build a meaningful and authentic life. She believes we often underestimate our potential, and that we are capable of far more growth, healing, and resilience than our inner critic suggests.

Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are seeking to reconnect with the joy you once felt, Kristy invites you to embark on this journey together. She is committed to creating a safe and compassionate environment where you feel supported in achieving your goals and in cultivating the life you want to live.

As a mother of four, Kristy deeply values family and is actively involved in her religious community. She is also an avid animal lover and enjoys good food (especially when she doesn't have to prepare it), traveling, staying active, and spending time outdoors-all of which enrich her life and inform her approach to well-being.

Kristy sees clients at our Lehi office and via telehealth with clients throughout Utah.
