Brianne is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who believes relationships are at the heart of meaningful change. She works primarily with couples, as well as other relationship dyads such as parents and adult children and siblings. She also loves working with individuals who want to better understand themselves in the context of their relationships, exploring the patterns that shape how they connect, communicate, and experience the people who matter most to them. Her work often includes navigating relationship rupture, distance, or estrangement, whether that means working toward repair or finding ways to understand and make peace with a relationship as it is.
Brianne's approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. She believes clients are the experts in their own lives, and her role is not to judge, label, or tell them who they should be. Instead, she seeks to understand each client's world alongside them, slowing things down enough to explore what is happening beneath the surface and making room for all parts of a person with compassion. There are no "bad parts" here.
Brianne uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and draws from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, and collaborative, client-centered approaches. Most importantly, she believes therapy is a relationship. Feeling genuinely known, understood, and accepted by another person can create new experiences that gradually transform how we understand ourselves and how we show up in our lives and relationships. She considers it an incredible privilege to be invited into that process with her clients.
Brianne is currently scheduling couples, individuals, and families at the Salt Lake City location or via telehealth.
