Amber Johnson, CSW, received her Master of Clinical Social Work degree from Boise State University in 2025. Amber wants her clients to feel empowered to make decisions for their lives and recognize that they deserve to be heard. She loves to help her clients recognize what boundaries need to be set, how to protect their space, and how to strengthen their relationships. She works with anyone struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, depression, eating disorders, identity struggles, trauma, faith transitions, and perinatal mood disorders. She also loves working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Amber is trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). This is one of her greatest strengths, allowing her to meet each client's individual needs.

One of Amber's greatest passions as a therapist is perinatal mental health. She works with women who need help processing their birthing experience, postpartum emotions, and postpartum mood disorders. She has experience working as a doula, and understands how isolating and painful infertility, pregnancy loss, and stillbirth can be.

You are deeply important, and your experiences and story matter. By working together, Amber believes that her clients can emerge stronger than before. Asking for help can be hard AND it's so worth it! She would love the opportunity to support you through your journey of healing.

Amber meets with clients at the Spanish Fork office and via telehealth with clients throughout Utah.
