Ana Dela Pena

Ana obtained her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from BYU-Hawaii and then received her Masters degree in Social Work at BYU. Ana is a compassionate therapist from the Philippines, bringing warmth, expertise, and cultural sensitivity to her practice. With a solid foundation in helping diverse populations, Ana has worked extensively with teenagers and sexual abuse, as well as with adults, families, and individuals facing challenges such as eating disorders, anxiety, and depression.

Her training includes Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing her to draw from a range of evidence-based practices to tailor interventions to each client's unique needs. Ana takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, helping individuals build resilience, self-awareness, and practical skills to navigate life's difficulties.

Ana creates a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to explore their challenges and set meaningful goals. She is committed to fostering growth, self-compassion, and healing by guiding clients to reconnect with their values and rewrite limiting narratives.

Ana deeply values culture, diversity, and the joy of shared traditions. She treasures time with her family and the connection it brings, and she's especially passionate about celebrating her cultural roots. Her appreciation for cultural traditions and diversity enriches her work, adding depth to her connection with clients from all backgrounds.
