Trista Pickett

Trista Pickett is a Certified Social Worker who graduated from BYU with her Master’s in Social Work.  She is passionate about helping those who are finding it hard to cope with various mental health struggles. She has a strong belief in the power of interpersonal relationships and the strength they can bring. She loves highlighting the attachments we make as humans, and has experience working with CBT, DBT, and using a Trauma-Focused lens. She loves using strengths based, client-centered, and mindfulness strategies. She has a passion for understanding perinatal mental health, and its impact on individuals and families. She has spent time learning, training, and practicing in this area. She also has experience working with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, life and faith transitions. She understands there is difficulty in balancing life expectations, personal goals, and mental, physical, and emotional health. She believes that individuals often have the ability to do this within themselves, and just need the safety, space, and time to access these parts of them. We all deserve to be happy and healthy in taking on life and its many challenges. She wants to help others find ways to accomplish this and feel whole and complete. When she’s not working, she loves to be outdoors with her husband and little one. She loves to read, draw, paint, and do anything that gets her body and mind active.
