Jason Young

Jason Young is a Certified Social Worker who graduated with his Masters from the University of Utah. He is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complex and often challenging issues that arise in life. Jason has experience working with teens throughout his undergraduate and graduate school years. His approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and active listening. He strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where teens can explore their feelings and emotions. He uses a variety of therapy techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients develop coping skills and resilience.

Jason is dedicated to helping clients build healthy relationships with themselves and others as well as develop a sense of purpose and direction. He understands the unique challenges facing today’s youth and is focused on helping clients overcome obstacles and achieve stated goals.

Jason is also passionate about LGBTQ issues and LGBTQ representation. He enjoys camping, music, video games, and reading.
